How important is it to have clean gutters
Even just removing the debis can really help. If you have the right sized ladder, feel confident and have time to do so, this part of home maintenance really save you time and money in the long run. After you have cleaned out the debris, flush the gutters with water to ensure all is functioning correctly. We recommend this task being completed twice a year. If you notice that your lush garden is really losing a lot of leaves even in one spot or aspect of your house you might want to consider gutter guards for that part. Gutter guards need to be kept clean too, if not looked after these can be where the rust begins!
Especially after a period of long rain it will be worth checking on the gutters as moss can grow in them also. If part of the gutter rusts it can spread quickly to the roof sheets, down pipes and the rest of the gutters.
